Summary: We are looking for a Kubernetes Administrator and Application Developer with extensive experience in building and managing cloud-native Kubernetes applications, particularly in RH OpenShift environments. The role involves collaboration with development teams, cluster administration, performance optimization, and automation of operational tasks. The ideal candidate should possess strong scripting and problem-solving skills, along with a solid understanding of Kubernetes security and compliance. This position is contract-based and fully remote.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with application development teams to deploy, scale, and manage cloud-native applications
- Administer and maintain Kubernetes clusters on bare metal and OpenShift platforms.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cluster performance and reliability.
- Automate operational tasks using scripting and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Ansible, Helm).
- Ensure security best practices and compliance standards within the clusters.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience developing and deploying cloud-native Kubernetes applications.
- Scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation.
- Linux administration skills (preferred)
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building cloud-native Kubernetes applications and administration of Kubernetes clusters, particularly with RH OpenShift, in bare-metal environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with application development teams to deploy, scale, and manage cloud-native applications
- Administer and maintain Kubernetes clusters on bare metal and OpenShift platforms.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cluster performance and reliability.

Qualifications:
- Requires minimum 5 years job related work experience in excess of degree requirements
- Bachelor's Degree : Computer Science or related field (Required)
- Or a combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge to a major in such fields is required
