Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in configuring and maintaining routers, switches, and firewalls to ensure high uptime and reliability across LAN/WAN environments.
- Diagnose and resolve connectivity issues under moderate supervision, minimizing downtime for critical supply chain operations.
- Support the implementation of security measures, including firewalls (CheckPoint/Cisco), VPNs, and Zero Trust architectures to protect against evolving threats.
- Utilize tools like SNMP and NetFlow to monitor performance and suggest improvements for scalability and efficiency.
- Assist in the maintenance of cutting-edge infrastructure, including software-defined networking (SD-WAN) and Private 5G initiatives at industrial sites.
- Maintain accurate network diagrams, IP addressing schemes, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Key Skills:
- 2-3 years of hands-on experience in network engineering or a related IT infrastructure role.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Network Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, OSI model, and routing protocols (BGP, OSPF).
