Summary: The Junior Azure Administrator role involves supporting the deployment, administration, monitoring, and maintenance of Azure cloud infrastructure. The candidate will be responsible for managing Azure resources, troubleshooting issues, and implementing security best practices. Key Responsibilities:
- Deploy, configure, and manage Azure resources including Virtual Machines, Storage Accounts, Virtual Networks, and Load Balancers.
- Monitor Azure environments for performance, availability, scalability, and security using Azure Monitor and related tools.
- Troubleshoot Azure infrastructure and resolve system and application issues.
- Respond to incidents, outages, and alerts in a timely manner.
- Implement Azure security best practices including NSGs, RBAC, threat detection, and encryption.
- Support compliance audits, remediation activities, and operational documentation.
- Perform backup validation, disaster recovery testing, and system health checks.
- Collaborate with technical and non-technical teams to support cloud initiatives.
Key Skills:
- Strong understanding of Azure services including Azure VMs, VNets, Load Balancers, Storage, and App Services.
- Experience with Azure Active Directory (Azure AD), RBAC, and identity/access management.
- Knowledge of PowerShell, Azure CLI, or scripting/automation tools.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust Clearance.
