Summary: The Java Middleware Engineer role focuses on developing and integrating Java-based applications within the Power Energy domain. Candidates should have extensive experience with Apache products and ESB/IBUS technologies, as well as a strong background in software development for both Windows and Linux environments. The position is remote and targets candidates from the USA and Canada only.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Experience with Apache products specifically: Geronimo, Tomcat, Camel, ServiceMix, Axis
  • Integrating with ESB/IBUS technologies: Fuse ESB, Tibco, Web sphere etc
  • Using Oracle and SQL
  • Developing pure Java based applications and Java middleware tier business logic
  • Authoring software for Windows and/or Linux
  • Authoring software in C/C++, KSH and Java
  • Developing WSDLs and XSDs
  • Working on Grid applications (SCAD/ADMS/EMS/OMS applications)
