Summary: The Informatica MDM Admin/Architect role involves supporting, maintaining, and enhancing enterprise Master Data Management platforms. The candidate should possess strong hands-on expertise in Informatica MDM, Unix/Linux administration skills, and experience in leading MDM upgrades and migrations. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage, configure, and maintain Informatica MDM Hub, Process Server, and related MDM components.
  • Perform Informatica MDM upgrades including planning, execution, validation, and rollback strategies.
  • Install and configure new MDM environments across Development, QA, UAT, and Production.
  • Apply patches, hotfixes, and security updates.
  • Lead migration activities and troubleshoot schema changes, configuration mismatches, and deployment failures.
  • Analyze logs and resolve system-level, application-level issues, and performance bottlenecks.
  • Collaborate with development, infrastructure, database, QA teams, and architects.
  • Provide technical guidance and MDM best practices.
  • Participate in release planning, change management, and production support.

Key Skills:

  • Informatica MDM Certification (Admin or equivalent).
  • 5+ years of hands-on Informatica MDM administration experience.
  • Strong experience with Informatica MDM Hub, Process Server, MDM upgrades, and environment builds.
  • Strong Unix/Linux administration experience and shell scripting expertise.
  • Experience with Oracle Database and SQL Server.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical abilities.
  • Experience coordinating across multiple teams and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Familiarity with additional Informatica tools like IDQ, E360, and ActiveVOS.
