Summary: The role of Informatica MDM Administrator involves supporting, maintaining, and enhancing enterprise Master Data Management platforms. The ideal candidate should possess extensive hands-on experience with Informatica MDM, Unix skills, and the capability to lead upgrade and migration activities independently. Additionally, experience with JBoss installation and configuration is crucial for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage, configure, and maintain Informatica MDM Hub, Process Server, and related components.
- Perform MDM upgrades (major and minor versions), including planning, execution, validation, and rollback strategies.
- Install and configure new MDM environments across development, QA, UAT, and production landscapes.
- Apply patches, hotfixes, and security updates as required.
- Lead environment migrations and troubleshoot issues related to schema changes, configuration mismatches, and deployment failures.
- Analyze logs, diagnose performance bottlenecks, and resolve system level and application-level issues.
- Work closely with development, infrastructure, and database teams to ensure smooth migration and deployment cycles.
- Work independently with architecture, development, QA, DBAs, and infrastructure teams as part of MDM upgrade and migration initiatives.
- Provide technical guidance and best practices to project teams.
- Participate in release planning, change management, and production support activities.
Key Skills:
- Informatica MDM Certification (Admin or equivalent).
- 5+ years of hands-on experience administering Informatica MDM Hub.
- Proven experience performing MDM upgrades and environment builds.
- Experience with Informatica IDQ, E360, or ActiveVOS.
- Solid Unix/Linux administration and shell scripting skills.
- Experience with Oracle or SQL Server databases supporting MDM.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate across multiple teams.
