Summary: The IBM MQ Engineer with Python Expertise will be responsible for designing, configuring, and administering IBM MQ infrastructure while developing messaging solutions and automation scripts. The role requires troubleshooting MQ-related issues and implementing security configurations. The position supports production environments and involves participation in on-call rotations. Key Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and administer IBM MQ infrastructure across distributed environments
• Develop and maintain messaging solutions using IBM MQ (queues, channels, clusters, etc.)
• Build automation scripts and tools using Python for monitoring, deployment, and operational efficiency
• Troubleshoot MQ-related issues including connectivity, performance, and message flow
• Implement security configurations (SSL/TLS, authentication, authorization) for MQ environments
• Support production environments and participate in on-call rotations

Key Skills:

• 7+ years of strong hands-on experience with IBM MQ (WebSphere MQ) administration and development
• Proficiency in Python scripting and development (automation, APIs, integrations)
• Experience with MQ concepts: Queue Managers, Channels, Clustering, Pub/Sub
