Fullstack Engineer (Python+React)

Summary: The Fullstack Engineer (Python + React) role involves designing, developing, and maintaining web applications using Python and React technologies. The position requires collaboration with product managers and engineers to deliver high-quality features while optimizing database solutions and implementing RESTful APIs. This is a remote hourly contract position with a commitment of 10 to 40 hours per week. The ideal candidate should possess strong proficiency in both frontend and backend development, along with excellent problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Python, React, Django, and Flask.
• Architect and implement RESTful APIs and integrate them with frontend and third-party systems.
• Develop and optimize database solutions using PostgreSQL and MySQL.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver high-quality features.
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests using tools such as Pytest and Jest.
• Utilize Docker, Git, and CI/CD pipelines to streamline development and deployment processes.
• Troubleshoot application issues and improve system performance, reliability, and scalability.

Key Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Python, Django, Flask, React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Strong experience developing RESTful APIs and integrating external services.
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, MySQL, and relational database design.
• Experience with Git workflows, Docker containerization, and CI/CD practices.
• Strong experience across both frontend and backend development.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively within Agile teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on collaboration and knowledge sharing.
