Full Stack Developer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Houston, TX that is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to join a fast-paced team building modern, cloud-native, microservices-based products. This role is hands-on across backend, frontend, and cloud, with a strong emphasis on quality, speed, and adaptability.

What You'll Do:
* Build and maintain REST APIs using Python and NodeJS
* Develop modern, scalable UIs with React and Angular
* Deploy and operate services in the cloud (Azure preferred; AWS/Google Cloud Platform acceptable)
* Write and maintain unit tests and follow modern development practices
* Leverage AI-assisted coding tools to improve velocity and code quality
* Thrive in a dynamic environment with frequent context switching

REQUIREMENTS:
* 5+ years of full stack development experience
* Strong experience with Python, NodeJS, and microservices architectures
* Advanced frontend skills in React and Angular (TypeScript required)
* Cloud experience (Azure preferred)
* Proven experience using AI coding tools (GitHub Copilot, Windsurf, or similar)
* Ability to work independently, take ownership, and move fast

Nice to Have:
* Docker, DevOps/CI-CD, or event-driven architecture experience
* Authentication (Entra ID/Okta) experience
* Experience with Cosmos DB or other NoSQL databases
* UI/UX collaboration or design experience

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
