Summary: The Fabric Analytics Engineer role is a 6-month remote contract focused on delivering end-to-end analytics solutions for organizations. Key Responsibilities:
- Translate stakeholder needs into scalable, analytics-ready data solutions
- Build and manage ELT pipelines in cloud data platforms (eg, Fabric, Synapse, Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks)
- Integrate data from CRMs, web analytics, finance, and other operational systems
- Model data using dimensional principles for reporting and analysis
- Implement data quality checks and lightweight monitoring
- Create dashboards and datasets in BI tools (Power BI, Looker, Tableau, etc.)
- Clearly communicate technical decisions and trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders
Key Skills:
- Delivered end-to-end production data pipelines
- Strong SQL and data modelling skills
- Hands-on with Microsoft Fabric or similar cloud platforms
- Experience with ELT tools (Airbyte, Fivetran) and/or Python
- Built semantic layers and analytics-ready datasets

iO Associates are currently looking for a hands-on Fabric Analytics Engineer to deliver end-to-end analytics solutions for purpose-driven organisations.
This is a 6-month remote contract focused on building scalable, production-grade data platforms, from ingestion through to analytics-ready datasets and dashboards.
You'll own the technical delivery: pipelines, modelling, data quality, and reporting outputs, working closely with both internal teams and stakeholders.
