Cyber Security engineer

Summary: The Senior Principal Engineer – Product Cybersecurity Readiness will lead cybersecurity initiatives for Connected, Autonomous, Shared, and Electrified mobility solutions. This role emphasizes securing the vehicle ecosystem, including embedded systems and cloud platforms, while integrating privacy and security principles. The position requires extensive experience in cybersecurity engineering and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders. The role is fully remote and offers a long-term contract opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical leadership in product cybersecurity across design, development, and operations.
• Conduct Threat Analysis and Risk Assessments (TARA) for end-to-end vehicle ecosystems.
• Develop and implement secure system architectures for embedded, cloud, and mobile environments.
• Act as a technical lead across multiple projects, ensuring delivery and resolving technical challenges.
• Collaborate with cross-functional and external stakeholders to drive cybersecurity initiatives.
• Create reference architectures aligned with security and privacy standards.
• Support engineering teams by identifying and removing technical impediments.

Key Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering (embedded systems, cloud, or mobile).
• 4+ years of experience in automotive, IoT, manufacturing, or software industries.
• Strong expertise in risk assessment, secure design, and system architecture.
• Proven ability to lead technically across multiple teams and projects.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
• Strong English communication skills (verbal and written).
