Summary: The role of Android Automotive OS (AAOS) / Projection Quality Engineer involves supporting validation, automation, and quality assurance for in-vehicle infotainment and mobile projection systems. The engineer will conduct end-to-end testing of Android-based features and APIs, ensuring system integration across embedded and mobile platforms. Strong hands-on experience with Android OS, Kotlin/Java, and modern DevOps workflows is essential for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform end-to-end QA for Android Automotive OS (AAOS), Android projection systems, and related infotainment features
  • Validate API behavior, UI workflows, projection connectivity, media controls, and Bluetooth/WiFi interactions
  • Develop and execute API automation, UI automation, and functional/system test suites
  • Analyze logs, triage defects, and provide strong debugging support using Android tools
  • Collaborate with product, development, DevOps, and vehicle integration teams to ensure feature readiness
  • Ensure test coverage for AAOS modules, projection protocols, HTTP-based services, and communication interfaces
  • Work within CI/CD pipelines using Git, Jenkins, GitLab, or similar tooling
  • Document test cases, results, regressions, and validation reports

Key Skills:

  • Strong hands-on experience in Android OS testing
  • Experience with Java/Kotlin development or automated testing
  • Preferably experience with Android Automotive OS (AAOS) or projection systems (CarPlay / Android Auto-style projection)
  • Hands-on familiarity with:
    • API test automation (REST/JSON)
    • UI automation (Espresso / Appium / UIAutomator or similar)

  • Experience using:

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Android Automotive OS (AAOS) / Projection Quality Engineer to support validation, automation, and quality assurance for invehicle infotainment and mobile projection systems.
