Summary: We are looking for a skilled QA Automation Engineer to lead quality engineering initiatives across various platforms, including web, API, database, and mobile applications. The role requires hands-on experience with automation, CI/CD pipelines, and performance testing in an agile environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing test strategies and improving overall testing efficiency. This position is fully remote and intended for long-term engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow established QA processes and implement automated testing across all workstreams to improve efficiency and quality.
- Own the test strategy, including test planning, execution, and reporting.
- Design and execute functional, integration, end-to-end, and regression testing for:
- Front-end applications
- APIs
- Databases
- Mobile applications (Android & iOS)
- Build and configure CI/CD pipelines to support automated testing in multi-cloud environments.
- Perform performance and load testing using JMeter.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance test automation frameworks.
- Create and manage automated test suites using Selenium, Appium, and Cucumber.
- Log, track, and manage defects using JIRA, and actively participate in defect triage discussions.
- Troubleshoot issues, debug failures, and apply strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by introducing new QA tools, practices, and standards.
Key Skills:
- 10+ years of experience in Quality Engineering / Test Automation.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java and SQL Server.
- Proven experience with API testing and backend validation.
- Experience working in agile, fast-changing project environments.
