Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute test plans, including functional, non-functional, and accessibility testing.
  • Create, set up, and maintain automation testing.
  • Ensure the service meets the elaborated requirements and aligns with design artifacts.
  • Carry out exploratory testing as part of a broader risk-based approach.
  • Perform cross-browser testing using BrowserStack.
  • Perform API tests using Bruno when new APIs are tested.

Key Skills:

  • Scala experience.
  • Must have MacOS experience.
  • Experience in testing frameworks including Selenium, Cucumber, and TestNG/JUnit along with Page Object Model (POM).
  • Cypress experience is a bonus.

Salary (Rate): £350 daily

TrueNorth are working with a growing tech consultancy on an urgent contract role looking for a QA Automation Engineer with Scala experience

QA Automation Tester - SFIA 5

End client: Central Government

Location: Leeds

Hybrid: 1 visit per month (2 days back to back)

Rate: £350 per day inside IR35

Contract Length: 3 months minimum - will extend

Key skills and experience required:

  • Scala
  • Must have a MacOS
  • Experience in testing frameworks inc: Selenium, Cucumber and TestNG/JUnit along with Page Object Model (POM).
  • Cypress express would be a bonus

The role will involve:

  • Design and execute test plans, including functional, non-functional and accessibility testing.
