Summary: The Automation QA Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the quality of the FTS platform by designing and implementing an automation strategy for the C# backend APIs, GraphQL layer, and React frontend. This role involves utilizing BDD frameworks and UI tools to guarantee system robustness and reliability before client delivery. The position is a 6-month initial contract with a hybrid work model, requiring three days on-site in Belfast and two days of remote work. Sponsorship is not available for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement a comprehensive automation strategy for the FTS platform.
- Test C# backend APIs, GraphQL layer, and React frontend components.
- Utilize BDD frameworks like SpecFlow and UI tools like Playwright.

- Proven track record as an Automation QA Engineer.
- Strong experience with modern UI automation tools such as Playwright or Selenium.

- Experience in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure) is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of non-functional testing (performance, load).
- Experience in the financial services or FinTech domain is a plus.
