Summary: The QAD Functional Consultant role requires an experienced professional with 6-8 years of functional expertise in QAD SE 2014, focusing on production support across various modules including Manufacturing and Inventory. The consultant will provide L2/L3 support, manage incidents, and collaborate with business teams for enhancements and testing. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential for effective stakeholder interaction and problem resolution. The position is available for remote work or in Kennesaw, Georgia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide L2/L3 support for QAD SE 2014 across core modules
- Handle incidents, service requests, problems, and document RCA with preventive measures
- Support month-end, quarter-end, year-end close activities
- Manage MRP runs, cost rollups, inventory reconciliations
- Perform user access reviews, security role validations, and master data support (Items, BOM, Routing, Sites, Supplier/Customer setup)
- Execute safe data corrections using approved procedures
- Coordinate & validate patches, service packs, deployments in Test & Prod environments
- Maintain SOPs, runbooks, knowledge articles
- Analyze and fix interface errors (mapping, master data issues, sequencing errors)
- Support reports, browses, ad-hoc extracts
- Drive problem management to reduce repeat tickets
- Follow ITIL processes: Change / Release / Incident / Problem Management
- Work with business teams for minor enhancements, testing, and UAT
- Collaborate with vendors, DBA, OS, and infrastructure teams
