Summary: The Power BI Developer / Lead role involves leading the design and delivery of critical reporting solutions using Power BI. The position requires collaboration with business stakeholders to translate requirements into effective BI solutions while managing the entire Power BI lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Power BI, T-SQL, and MS SQL Server, along with excellent stakeholder engagement skills. This is a contract position based in Watford, England.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of Power BI dashboards and reports
- Work closely with business stakeholders to gather and translate requirements
- Develop robust data models and reporting solutions
- Write and optimise complex T-SQL queries
- Work extensively with MS SQL Server, including data extraction and transformation
- Ensure reporting solutions are scalable, accurate, and aligned with business needs
- Provide guidance and best practice around Power BI design and governance

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Power BI professional to lead the design and delivery of business-critical reporting solutions. This role requires someone who can work closely with stakeholders across the business, translate requirements into scalable BI solutions, and take ownership of the full Power BI lifecycle.
