Summary: The PMO Analyst role involves supporting a global Insurance broker by ensuring consistent delivery standards across initiatives through effective methodologies and tooling. The position requires collaboration with various stakeholders and emphasizes modern delivery practices such as Agile. The role is hybrid, requiring periodic office presence in Romford, Tunbridge Wells, or Bury St Edmunds. The successful candidate will manage portfolio reporting, governance support, planning, financial management, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date portfolio data (plans, RAID logs, milestones)
  • Produce regular PMO reports and dashboards (weekly/monthly)
  • Ensure data consistency across multiple projects and stakeholders
  • Maintain central Risk, Assumption, Issue and Dependency (RAID) logs
  • Track actions and follow up with project/change leads
  • Support governance forums (eg Change Board) through agenda preparation, pack creation, and minutes & action tracking
  • Support the creation and maintenance of project plans and milestones
  • Track delivery against agreed timelines and highlight slippage
  • Help identify interdependencies across initiatives
  • Support Head of PMO in tracking budgets, forecasts and spend
  • Provide visibility of resource demand vs capacity
  • Highlight gaps, over-allocation or inefficiencies
  • Act as a central point of contact for PMO information and updates
  • Work closely with project managers, change leads and business SMEs
  • Chase inputs and ensure timely submissions for reporting cycles
  • Maintain PMO resources and tools (eg Excel trackers, Monday.com, SharePoint)
  • Ensure teams are using standard templates and processes
  • Continuously improve reporting and tooling for efficiency
  • Deputise for Head of PMO as required

Key Skills:

  • Experience in a PMO role
  • Strong Monday.com, Microsoft teams and Copilot experience
  • Experience in delivering large-scale technology and change portfolios.
  • Strong experience of portfolio, programme and project governance.
  • Good stakeholder management and communication skills at senior level.
  • Strong financial acumen, including budget and benefits management.
  • Experience within insurance, financial services or a regulated environment.
  • Exposure to technology transformation programmes
  • Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall and hybrid delivery approaches.

Our client, a global Insurance broker, are currently looking to hire a PMO Analyst with Insurance experience to join the team on a contract basis. This role would be hybrid working, with periodic office presence in Romford/Tunbridge Wells/Bury St Edmunds.

In this role you will ensure that initiatives are delivered to a consistent standard by driving effective methodologies and tooling across the portfolio, championing modern delivery practices such as Agile. The role delivers set standards, governance and ways of working while partnering closely with Technology, Business Services & Operations, and other stakeholders across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

Portfolio Reporting
