Summary: The PLM Project Manager role involves coordinating project activities, leading planning sessions, and monitoring day-to-day project progress. The position requires effective communication with stakeholders and the organization of project artifacts. The candidate will also prepare project status reports and support quality assurance practices. This role can be performed either onsite or remotely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate activities with the project sponsor and project leader to help finalize the project charter
- Lead project planning sessions with all project stakeholders, capturing WBS activities and subsequently developing into a consensus-based project schedule
- Monitor & control the day-to-day project activities and reflect progress in the project schedule and RAID log
- Organize and facilitate project meetings, prepare agendas, and track action items
- Leverage project schedule and RAID log to drive project communications, alignment and visibility
- Ensure project artifacts (technical, legal, contract, financial, etc.) are organized, contents are updated timely and accessible to project teams
- Capture and summarize meeting notes, actions, decision and action logs and communicate with relevant stakeholders
- Prepare and present regular project status reports, including budget updates
- Support quality assurance practices to ensure deliverables meet standards and objectives
- Other project related activities as assigned.
Key Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, or related field
- Active PMP certification
- 5-10 Years of experience in similar roles
- Advanced PPM software experience (e.g., MS Project, Planview, Smartsheet, etc.)
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and attention to details skills
- Ability to communicate succinctly based on audiences
