We are looking for a talented People Support Administrator to join our team specializing in Human Resources for our People Support Department in Huddersfield, United Kingdom. 37.5 per week - 60% on site expectation, 2 days working from home. This role is on a 10 month fixed term contract.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways :
- Streamlining HR Processes: By working within defined processes and procedures, you'll ensure efficient and effective HR support for employees, enhancing overall productivity.
- Ensuring Data Accuracy: Conducting regular data-entry audits and maintaining accurate workforce information in HR systems will help in making informed decisions and maintaining compliance.
- Supporting Employee Inquiries: By resolving common HR inquiries, you'll provide essential support to employees, contributing to a positive work environment.
- Facilitating Recruitment: Coordinating recruiting activities, updating the applicant tracking system, and conducting reference checks will help in attracting and onboarding top talent.
- Enhancing Onboarding Experience: By coordinating new hire orientation assignments and activities, you'll ensure a smooth and welcoming onboarding process for new employees.
- Administering Compensation and Benefits: Partnering with shared services and corporate HR to manage compensation and benefits processes will ensure employees receive fair and accurate compensation.
- Ensuring Compliance: Assisting in the administration of HR policies and procedures and auditing compliance with legislative requirements will help maintain a lawful and ethical workplace.
- Supporting Internal Audits and Investigations: Coordinating and assisting with internal audit requests and documenting investigations will contribute to the integrity and transparency of HR operations.
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- HR Administration Expertise: A solid background in HR administration to effectively manage and administer various HR processes, including handling general queries, managing employee absences, processing changes/leavers, and maintaining employee records.
- HR Qualification: Having obtained or currently studying towards an HR qualification (CIPD Level 3 or above) to ensure you have the necessary knowledge and skills to support HR activities.
- Collaboration and Teamwork: Strong collaboration and teamwork skills to work effectively within a team of People Support Administrators and with external teams such as eTime, Payroll, and Total Rewards.
- Adaptability and Efficiency: The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, efficiently executing tasks and projects while adapting to changing priorities and demands.
- Education/ Experience High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations. Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
