Summary: The Oracle Finance Design & Implementation Manager role at Summer-Browning Associates involves leading the Finance & Payroll aspects of an ERP transformation program for a public sector client. The position is hybrid, based in Stafford, and requires a candidate with relevant security clearance and extensive experience in Oracle Finance & Payroll implementations. The role is initially for eighteen months with the possibility of extension.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary functional expert for Finance & Payroll elements of the ERP transformation programme.
- Implement Oracle Cloud ERP Finance & Payroll solutions.
- Configure core Finance & Payroll modules.
- Design Chart of Accounts, financial controls, payroll configuration, workflows, and integrations.
- Collaborate with system integrators.
Key Skills:
- Active NPPV3 or SC clearance.
- Proven experience implementing Oracle Cloud ERP Finance & Payroll.
- Hands-on configuration experience in core Finance & Payroll modules.
- Experience in designing financial controls and payroll configurations.
- Experience in public sector or regulated environments.
- Professional accountancy qualification (CCAB, CIMA or ACCA).

Summer-Browning Associates is currently supporting our public sector client, who is seeking a Oracle Finance Design & Implementation Manager for an initial eighteen-month assignment with the option to extend.
Location: Hybrid working - Stafford
About the role: You will be responsible for being the primary functional expert for the Finance & Payroll elements of the ERP transformation programme.
The ideal candidate will hold Active NPPV3 or SC clearance and have a strong background in delivery Oracle Finance & Payroll implementation support, with the following skills and experience:
- Proven experience implementing Oracle Cloud ERP Finance & Payroll.
- Experience of hands-on configuration experience in core Finance & Payroll modules.
- Experience designing Chart of Accounts, financial controls, payroll configuration, workflows, and integrations.
- Experience working in public sector or highly regulated environments.
- Experience working closely with system integrators.
- Professional accountancy qualification (CCAB, CIMA or ACCA)
