Summary: The Oracle EBS DBA role involves supporting a major migration project from on-premise Oracle EBS to Oracle HCM Cloud, combining business-as-usual (BAU) support with project work. The position requires maintaining stable EBS environments while contributing to a significant cloud transformation initiative. The role is hybrid, based in Havant or Reading, and is expected to start as soon as possible. The contract is initially set to last until March 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and support Oracle EBS environments (cloning, patching, performance tuning).
  • Assist with migration activities to Oracle HCM Cloud.
  • Review and validate code against standards.
  • Support integrations with OCI and OIC.
  • Participate in compliance, DR, and patch management activities.

Key Skills:

  • Strong experience with Oracle EBS R12.2 administration.
  • Solid background in Oracle Database (19c) and Unix/Linux environments.
  • Exposure to Oracle Cloud technologies (OCI, OIC) highly desirable.
  • Ability to work flexibly and manage both BAU and project tasks.

Oracle EBS DBA – Contract Opportunity

Location: Hybrid working in Havant or Reading

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: Initially until March 2026

Rate: £460 per day inside IR35

Our client is looking for an experienced Oracle EBS DBA to join their team supporting a major migration project from on-premise Oracle EBS to Oracle HCM Cloud . This role combines BAU support (approx. 60%) with project work (40%) , ensuring our EBS environments remain stable while contributing to a high-profile cloud transformation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and support Oracle EBS environments (cloning, patching, performance tuning).
  • Assist with migration activities to Oracle HCM Cloud.
  • Review and validate code against standards.
