Network Engineer

Summary: The Network Infrastructure Engineer role involves hands-on installation, testing, and integration of network equipment in a corporate setting. Key Responsibilities:

• Hands-on experience of installing, testing and integrating network equipment within a corporate environment
• Experience with IT and network infrastructure (Switches, Firewalls, WAN, LAN, Routers, Proxy), their management software, IT, security tooling setup, and applying policy-based processes
• Cyber security hygiene practices and technology
• Experience with network monitoring software/tools such as logic monitor
• Implementing and supporting network designs (HLD/LLD, configs, standards)
• Strong networking expertise in LAN switching & wireless network (Meraki), VPNs, IPSec, MPLS & proven skills in Layer 3 (OSPF, BGP, subnetting, ACLs, VRFs)
• Applying zero-trust segmentation and identity-aware controls
• Experience of Network Security with Palo Alto as vendor
• Understanding and practical experience of cloud networking solutions and technologies (AWS) considered an asset
• Relevant certifications; Cisco, Palo Alto, Juniper, etc Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification as a minimum requirement
