Summary: The role of .NET SQL Kubernetes Enterprise Architect involves supporting project delivery through functional scoping and developing Information System architecture solutions. The position requires a blend of technical expertise in .NET applications and architecture, along with strong communication skills. The candidate will work both on-site in Solihull and remotely, collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure compliance with architecture governance. This is a contract position for a duration of 6 months or more, classified as inside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and evolve existing and future IS architecture based on set architecture principles and consistent with company frameworks.
- Design .NET and data solutions, collaborating with security and production infrastructure stakeholders.
- Collaborate with project team members in defining functional scope of projects.
- Engage with stakeholders to define technical roadmaps for IT solutions.
- Support project managers in project build plan creation and cost estimation.
- Assess solutions and create technology or application roadmaps.
- Support delivery of the Enterprise Architecture capability.
- Manage projects through appropriate governance processes, including submitting PSD's and presenting at various forums.
- Assist project teams by preparing architecture briefs and ensuring consistency with established frameworks.
- Engage in Research and Design to evaluate and propose technologies that align with business strategy and IT roadmap.
Key Skills:
- Over 5+ years in an IT Architecture role, preferably within Financial Services.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Ability to operate across multiple engagements concurrently.
- Experience developing .NET applications and architecting Microsoft .NET applications.
- Experience with SQL server, Kubernetes, Postgres, NoSQL.
- Knowledge of TOGAF and ITIL.
- Experience with commercial off the shelf and bespoke solutions.
- Methodical, organized, and results-driven communicator with attention to detail.
- Adaptability and ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Role Description:
We are seeking an experienced Solution/Enterprise Architect to support project delivery with functional scoping and devise Information System (IS) level architecture solutions that prioritize consistency, adaptability, and sustainability, while ensuring compliance with set architecture governance framework and its processes.
Required Skills and Experience
Over 5+ years in an IT Architecture role, preferably within Financial Services
Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken. Effective requirements elicitation and presentation skills
Ability to operate across multiple engagements concurrently and assume architectural responsibility.
Previous experience developing .NET applications
Experience architecting Microsoft .NET applications
Experience with SQL server, Kubernetes, Postgres, NoSQL
Knowledge of TOGAF and ITIL
Experience of working with commercial off the shelf and bespoke solutions
Methodical, organized and results-driven communicator with great attention to detail
Adaptability and ability to collaborate with diverse teams in different environments and stakeholders at all levels
Desirable Skills and Experience
TOGAF Practitioner certification
ITIL certification
Experience with architecture tools such as Orbus iServer and MS Visio.
Domain Driven Design, Modelling - Relationships, topologies, Sequence Diagrams, UML, ArchiMate etc.
Understanding of Automation, testing and development pipelines
Practical knowledge of Agile, DevOps, CI/CD
Key Role Responsibilities
Develop and evolve existing and future IS (Information System) architecture based on set architecture principles and consistent with company frameworks
Design .NET and data solutions, with security and production infrastructure stakeholders, supporting the business requirements and aligned with the customer's strategy.
Collaborate with other project team members in the functional scope definition of projects
Collaborate with stakeholders in the definition of technical roadmaps for IT solutions
Support project managers for project build plan creation and cost estimation
Assess solutions and creation of technology or application roadmaps
Support delivery of the Enterprise Architecture capability
Engage with global teams to manage projects through the appropriate governance process including where applicable submitting PSD's, presenting at COLEC, ITVC, PANO, local IC, etc.
Provide support and assist the project team: help prepare architecture briefs, ensuring consistency with the established framework
Engage in Research and Design to evaluate and propose technologies to complement business strategy and IT roadmap
