Summary: Skydio is seeking a Program Manager to oversee the implementation and delivery of drone products to Government and Defense customers in the EMEA region. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and drive all aspects of implementation and delivery of Skydio products to Government and Defense customers in EMEA.
  • Act as the primary customer liaison responsible for contract success, including cost, performance, scheduling, and compliance.
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Manufacturing Operations, and Sales to develop plans and communicate risks and progress.
  • Establish relationships with International Government customers and partners to meet contractual requirements.
  • Inform Skydio leaders about contract management risks and opportunities.
  • Support go-to-market and business activities as required.

About The Role

Skydio is looking for a driven Program Manager with a deep sense of ownership to lead and drive all aspects of implementation and delivery of Skydio products to Government and Defense customers in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). You will be Skydio’s primary customer liaison and broadly responsible for the success of our contracts to include: cost, performance, scheduling, project planning, technical execution, contract compliance, risk management and problem solving. Internally, you work hand in hand with Product Management, Manufacturing Operations, and Sales to develop plans, solve problems and communicate risk and progress up to the executive level. A successful candidate will become an indispensable bridge between International Government and Defense customers and Skydio’s extremely agile and world class technical teams. This role reports to the Manager of International Mission Success.

How You’ll Make An Impact

  • Be a highly collaborative, requirements driven planner with a deep sense of ownership and accountability with a willingness to roll up sleeves and dive into the details.
  • Understand customer contract requirements and pain points and translate them to Skydio’s agile product and technical teams to drive development and delivery execution.
  • Establish relationships with International Government customers and partners and possess technical skills to build and drive plans with Skydio’s manufacturing, product and engineering teams to meet milestones.
  • Inform Skydio leaders regarding contract management risks and opportunities, ensuring a coordinated and comprehensive approach to product delivery across programs.
  • Work directly with resell partners across EMEA to fulfill customer demands that adhere to contractual, legal and regulatory requirements.
  • General support of go-to-market and business activities as required.

  • Government Program Management experience, to include: Technology Assessments, Systems Design, Systems Analysis, Programmatic Support, Acquisition Planning, and Budget Planning.
  • Understanding of Government contract compliance and security controls.
  • Ability to address complex procurement and contract compliance related matters and recommend solutions.

Requirements

  • Active Secret or Top-Secret Security Clearance or ability to obtain.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time (Europe, Middle East, Africa and the USA).
  • Ability to obtain FAA Part 107 Certification.
  • Former Military or Police service is highly desirable.

Compensation

At Skydio, our compensation packages for full-time employees include competitive base salaries, equity in the form of stock options, and comprehensive benefits packages. Compensation will vary based on factors, including skill level, proficiencies, transferable knowledge, and experience. Relocation assistance may also be provided for eligible roles. The annual base salary range for this position is $71,000 - $101,000 GBP*. Compensation for certain positions may vary based on the position’s location.
