Summary: The Manufacturing Engineer role is a 12-month contract position based in Broughton, focusing on bridging the Design Office, Manufacturing Engineering Team, and Production. The engineer will be responsible for defining assembly processes, implementing production modifications, and ensuring quality and efficiency in manufacturing. Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and write assembly work processes and specifications for assembly tools.
  • Implement production modifications and maintain consistency between design and manufacturing dossiers.
  • Launch parts and assemblies, provide on-site support, and prepare work instructions for disruptions.
  • Analyse anomalies, optimise procedures, and write concessions.
  • Contribute to product definition, production methods, and industrial work-sharing.
  • Define manufacturing schedules and interfaces, ensuring alignment between design and production.

Key Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of assembly systems, machining processes, and/or manual assembly methods.
  • Proven experience in work preparation/industrialisation.
  • Proficiency in MS Office/Google Workspace and SAP for work preparation.
  • A curious, creative mindset with excellent organisational and team skills.
