Summary: The role of Legal Counsel involves providing commercially-oriented legal advice to support a digital business operating well-known consumer websites in the UK. This six-month contract position, based in Central London on a hybrid basis, requires drafting and negotiating commercial agreements, advising on new products, and guiding corporate activities. The ideal candidate is a qualified lawyer with at least 4 years of PQE, although applications from all levels are considered. Immediate availability and the right to work in the UK are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drafting, negotiating, and finalising commercial agreements.
- Providing legal advice in relation to new products and initiatives.
- Delivering guidance on issues such as data privacy (including e-privacy).
- Contributing to corporate activity such as acquisitions and integration projects.
- Providing training to the business on key legal and regulatory developments.
Key Skills:
- Qualified lawyer with at least 4 years’ PQE.
- Extensive experience in drafting and negotiating commercial agreements.
- Experience in data privacy and regulatory issues.
- Ability to provide commercially-oriented legal advice.
- Immediate availability and right to work in the UK.

Digital business operating some of the UK’s best known consumer websites are looking for a Legal Counsel on a six month contract which has the potential to extend. The role is based in Central London a hybrid basis with two days per week in the office
Working As Part Of a Fast-paced Company, The Legal Team Assists In Delivering Commercially-oriented Advice To Help The Business Achieve Its Strategic Objectives.
On a Day-to-day Basis, You Will Be Drafting, negotiating, and finalising commercial agreements Providing legal advice in relation to new products and initiatives Delivering guidance on issues such as data privacy (including e-privacy) Contributing to corporate activity such as acquisitions and integration projects Providing training to the business on key legal and regulatory developments
This role requires a qualified lawyer with at least 4 years’ PQE but applications from all levels will be considered on merit (the more experience, the better!). You must have extensive experience in drafting and negotiating commercial agreements. As well as UK qualified lawyers, interest from Commonwealth qualified candidates is welcomed. You must be available to start immediately as well as having the right to work in the UK (sponsorship cannot be provided)
