Summary: The IT Disaster Recovery Consultant will work with a leading client to define, document, and test a disaster recovery strategy for an enterprise technology solution. This role involves providing technical guidance, maintaining standards, and acting as a primary contact for specific projects. The consultant will facilitate design meetings and support the overall disaster recovery strategy while engaging through an umbrella company. The position requires a hybrid working arrangement with two days on-site each week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical guidance on solutions and issues related to all applications
- Develop and maintain technical standards and ensure best practice is adopted for the implementation of the solutions
- Act as a primary technical point of contact for specific projects
- Produce high-level design and technical specifications incorporating impact analysis
- Facilitate design meetings and workshops, creating an inclusive environment to develop ideas from engineers, developers, and business analysts
- Support the definition, documentation, and testing of the disaster recovery strategy for the enterprise technology solution
- Completing tasks assigned by the IT Infrastructure manager on a daily basis
- Reporting or highlighting issues to the IT Infrastructure manager
Key Skills:
