Detailed Description From Employer:

Our client is a global business based in London and needs an Interim Finance Manager for 9-12 months. You will lead a team of management accountants and be responsible for delivering the management accounts, commentary and analysis to the group.

Responsibilities include:

  • Report actual monthly accounting results, budgets and forecasts for the company to inform about latest performance.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of management accountants.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimisation and implement best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial reporting procedures.
  • Collaborate with both external and internal auditors during year end.
  • Support and help deliver the company audit.

The ideal candidate will be/have:

  • Strong team management experience.
  • A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
  • Demonstrable experience of managing and improving management accounting reports and processes, flash reports, and Excel reports.
  • Superb communication skills and stakeholder management across a variety of different verticals within businesses.
  • A preference for heavy asset management sectors such as logistics, transport, energy, and aviation.

The role is an urgent start and based in London 3 days/week. This is an FTC of £70-80k, although there is the ability to stretch this for an exceptional candidate. If this interests you, please send your CV to be considered.
