Summary: The role of Interim Finance Analyst / Finance Business Partner involves supporting a finance team during a busy period of change and increased workload within a well-established multi-site business in Hull. The position requires a commercially-minded finance professional who can enhance reporting, perform data analysis, and provide business partnering support. The successful candidate will be expected to take ownership of reporting and contribute to process improvements while working closely with stakeholders. Key Responsibilities:
- Producing and enhancing sales and performance reports to provide clear insight into business performance.
- Reviewing and validating data to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Supporting stakeholders with meaningful financial insight.
- Identifying opportunities to improve reporting and workflows.
- Providing ad-hoc support across finance as needed to help stabilize the team.
Key Skills:
- Experience across FP&A and/or Finance Business Partnering.
- Strong Excel and reporting skills; experience with dashboards/tools is beneficial.
- Confidence in working with and presenting data to stakeholders.
- Ability to assess data accuracy and improve reporting outputs.
- Proactive, hands-on approach with a willingness to support wherever needed.
- Strong personality with energy and a willingness to get involved.

We're partnering with a well-established, multi-site business in Hull that is looking for an interim finance professional to support during a period of change and increased workload. With an under-resourced team and ongoing systems improvements, this role is all about adding value quickly, supporting the team, and bringing clarity to reporting.
The Role
You'll come in to support a stretched finance team, focusing on reporting, analysis, and general finance support where needed.
- Sales & Performance Reporting: Producing and enhancing reports to provide clear insight into business performance

- Business Partnering: Supporting stakeholders with meaningful financial insight
