Your new company
We're delighted to be exclusively partnered with a Cambridge-based start-up as they look to bring in a Head of Finance to their team, to support them with the next phase of their growth. This is a confidential job search and the Head of Finance role will be available on a full-time basis, with hybrid working in place.

Your new role
This is a great opportunity to make the finance function your own, as you look to review and improve existing processes, shape the financial strategy for the business and play a crucial role in funding activities. Overall, it's a 'top-to-bottom' finance role, meaning you will be supporting from the basics of operational accounting right the way through to strategic finance, FP&A, financial reporting, controls and compliance.

What you'll need to succeed
We're particularly keen to hear from anyone who has operated in a no.1 or no.2 finance role within a growing, investor-funded business. Any previous experience of operating in a life sciences business, supporting the delivery of raising funds or exposure to working in an early-stage business would be a bonus. Due to the quick turnaround required, there is also a strong preference for anyone available on
