Summary: The role of Financial Accountant involves supporting a leading financial services firm in London for a 3-month assignment. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accounts for over 50 entities and ensuring accurate financial reporting. This position requires a qualified accountant who can work independently and deliver timely results. The role offers a collaborative environment within a growing international firm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare full set of accounts for 50+ entities
- Prepare journal entries for recurring monthly transactions
- Prepare the month end trial balance for all entities in multiple jurisdictions
- Review the trial balance of each entity to ensure balance sheet accounts are appropriately updated
- Look into variances after reviewing the trial balance
- Maintain accounting processes and procedures
- Assist the finance team with the production of the annual audit and the supporting packs
- Ad hoc work/projects as and when requested by senior management
Key Skills:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CA)
- Experience of working within the financial services sector is beneficial
- Experience of audit work
- Strong accounts preparation experience
- Strong stakeholder engagement
- Experience of CCH
- Be a self-starter and deliver reports in a timely and accurate manner

We’re looking for a qualified financial accountant to come in and support the wider finance team with the production of accounts for 50 + entities. You'll need to hit the ground running, but all financial information will be prepared for you to do so and support will be there.
Key duties and responsibilities for this financial accountant position include:
- Prepare full set of accounts for 50+ entities

Collaboration is a big thing in the finance team and there is always opportunity to get exposure to more work. You will work closely with the entire finance team, with the production of financial accounts for these entities being your sole responsibility. For this role, we are preferably looking for candidates happy to go into the great London offices two days per week.
Daily Rate
This financial accountant opportunity in London will pay in the region of £400-£550 per day via umbrella, depending on your level of experience and industry background. For this assignment we are looking at candidates who are immediately available as we would like someone to start next week.
