Summary: The role of Interim Finance Analyst involves supporting a London-based university in preparing and submitting its Office for Students (OfS) and Transparent Approach to Costing (TRAC) returns. The position requires collaboration with various internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and deadlines. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead or support the collation, validation, and analysis of financial data for the OfS and TRAC submissions.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders across finance, academic departments, and planning to gather required information.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and submission deadlines.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve data quality and reporting processes.
- Assist in documentation and audit trail preparation for internal and external review.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience in UK Higher Education finance, particularly with OfS and TRAC returns.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Proficiency in Excel and financial systems (eg, Agresso, Oracle, SAP - desirable).
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities under tight deadlines.
