Summary: The Finance Analyst role is a 6-month fixed-term contract based in London, requiring a commercially minded individual to join a multinational infrastructure group's finance team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the preparation and analysis of budgets, forecasts, and long-range plans
  • Deliver timely and accurate financial analysis on business performance, including variance analysis against budget and forecast
  • Assist in the production of management reporting packs, providing clear and concise commentary for stakeholders
  • Partner with operational and commercial teams to understand performance drivers and improve forecast accuracy
  • Support month-end close processes, ensuring actuals are accurately reflected in reporting and forecasting models
  • Build and maintain financial models to support planning, forecasting, and scenario analysis
  • Assist with the ongoing improvement of FP&A processes, systems, and reporting
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis and support to senior finance and management teams as required

Key Skills:

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
  • Background in audit or financial reporting is advantageous
  • Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting processes
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and explain financial data clearly
  • Confident communicator with the ability to engage with stakeholders across the business
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working to tight deadlines
  • Strong Excel skills; experience with large ERP systems is beneficial
