Summary: The Engineering Technician role involves working within the consumables Prototyping Services team at a leading diagnostic company in San Diego, focusing on executing experiments, collecting data, and collaborating on various projects. The position requires strong hands-on skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision. The technician will also support troubleshooting efforts and maintain lab equipment while effectively communicating findings to the project team. Key Responsibilities:
- Owning moderate-complexity tasks with minimal supervision across multiple operations and technologies
- Executing experiments and collecting advanced data with strong hands-on skills
- Planning and executing multiple parallel activities as assigned by supervisor
- Supporting troubleshooting efforts across project teams
- Tracking lab supply inventory and maintaining lab equipment
- Collaborating effectively within a team environment using proficient collaboration tools
- Communicating observations, technical findings, and progress to supervisor and immediate project team
- Establishing relationships with immediate project team and functional stakeholders
- Demonstrating good interpersonal skills and working effectively in a team environment
- Acknowledging instructions and communications, and seeking clarification when required

- Experience with wafer-based fabrication or chemistry processes (preferred)
