- Applicants for this role will be expected to be educated to degree level in an appropriate engineering discipline, ideally Mechanical or Electrical) and preferably with Chartered Membership or working towards, of the appropriate professional institute, you will have significant experience of engineering within a relatable industrial process medium to heavy industry site / manufacturing process or heavy industry.
- Proven experience of leading a large multi-disciplinary team of Engineers and Craft personnel (100+).
- A thorough understanding of appropriate management systems and their application, in order to drive engineering performance.

- As a member of the COLT, you will be required to liaise with a range of internal and external stakeholders on a regular basis, and therefore will need to be confident, assured and a clear communicator.
- A strong commitment to the long term business and health and safety strategies, will be capable of working under pressure and to tight deadlines, and have the flexibility to adjust to changing priorities and demands to ensure that engineering performance supports the business objectives.
