Summary: The Senior ITSM Architect will be responsible for delivering excellence in IT Service Management tooling solutions as part of an Agile team. This role involves producing design documentation and collaborating with professionals to enhance ITSM processes. The position requires extensive experience in various ITSM technologies and a strong understanding of ITIL processes. Candidates must hold or have held high-level security clearance due to the nature of the role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce design documentation for ITSM tooling solutions.
- Collaborate with an Agile team to enhance delivery excellence.
- Design, install, configure, and customize ITSM/ITIL/Service Desk technologies.
- Implement highly secure and resilient ITSM tooling solutions.
- Work within ITSM/ITOM/ITIL/eTOM processes.
- Utilize general IT core infrastructure capabilities.
- Develop and manipulate data using scripting and applications development techniques.
Key Skills:
- Extensive experience with ITSM/ITIL/Service Desk tooling technologies.
- Knowledge of ITSM/ITOM/ITIL/eTOM processes and certifications.
- Experience in designing secure, large-scale ITSM solutions.
- Understanding of Windows Server, Active Directory, SQL, and PKI.
- Proficiency in scripting and applications development (SQL, PowerShell, JavaScript, C#).
- Experience with REST Web Services and Power BI.

Senior Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) Tooling Architect - Senior ITSM Architect
Brief overview on the role/project:
As a Senior Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) Tooling Architect you will play a crucial role in ensuring continued delivery excellence in support of our customers Digital Transformation priorities. You will work as part of an Agile team reporting into the Solution Owner to produce design documentation on a wide variety of ITSM tooling solutions which vary in size and complexity. Working alongside a team of dedicated professionals, you will be driven to find better, faster, more effective solutions.
Mandatory skills:
Extensive experience in the design, installation, configuration and customisation of various ITSM/ITIL/Service Desk Tooling technologies which should ideally include technologies from one or more of the following:
- CA Service Desk Manager
- BMC Remedy
- BMC Helix
- ServiceNow
- Cherwell Service Management Software
- Freshworks
- ManageEngine
. Extensive experience of working within the bounds of ITSM/ITOM/ITIL/eTOM processes, ideally, with accompanying certifications (E.g. ITIL v4 certified).
. Extensive knowledge and experience in the design and implementation of highly secure, highly resilient, large scale ITSM tooling solutions for cloud, on-premises and hybrid cloud solutions.
. A working knowledge of general Information Technology Core infrastructure capabilities including:
- Windows Server technologies
- Active Directory and Group Policies
- SQL and SQL Server Clustering
- PKI Infrastructure and certificate management capabilities
. General knowledge of scripting, applications development and data manipulation techniques including:
- SQL Scripting
- Powershell
- JavaScript
- REST Web Services
- C#
- Power BI
- SQL Server Reporting
