Summary: The Interim Supply Chain Finance Director will lead the European operations of a global supply chain and logistics company for an initial 6-month contract. Key Responsibilities:
- Leading and developing an established supply chain finance team through a period of transition
- Partnering senior stakeholders across supply chain, procurement, planning and operations to support business performance and decision making
- Owning monthly forecasting, budgeting and performance management processes across a significant operational cost base
- Driving improved forecast accuracy through deeper analysis of operational and financial performance drivers
- Delivering insight and challenge around transportation, logistics, procurement and operational expenditure
- Supporting strategic initiatives focused on cost optimisation, productivity improvement and operational efficiency
- Translating complex financial and operational data into meaningful recommendations for senior leadership
- Supporting ongoing organisational and process improvement initiatives within the finance function
Key Skills:
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualified
- Significant experience operating within supply chain, logistics, manufacturing, distribution or other operationally intensive environments
- Strong track record of finance business partnering with senior operational stakeholders
- Extensive experience across forecasting, planning, budgeting and performance management
- Previous experience leading and developing high-performing finance teams
- Capable of operating in a fast-paced and complex international business environment
- Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills
