Summary: DatamanUSA is seeking a skilled Database Administrator to join their team, focusing on managing and optimizing Oracle databases for a direct client in Salem, OR. The role requires extensive experience in database administration, SQL query optimization, and CI/CD pipelines. Candidates with a background in Juvenile Justice or Azure cloud applications will be preferred. This position offers the flexibility of remote work or on-site in Salem, Oregon.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and tune on-prem Oracle databases (11g, 12c, or newer) with a minimum of 9 years of experience.
- Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and modernization scripts.
- Manage schemas, password management, security management, data mapping, and tools (e.g., TOAD, SQL Developer).
- Work with virtual machines, UNIX/AIX, Shell Scripting, and CRON jobs.
- Design, develop, and maintain data interfaces and flat file exchange processes for integrations with external partners.
- Collaborate within an agile methodology and demonstrate strong organizational and communication skills.
- Experience in CI/CD pipelines and working within the Juvenile Justice domain is a plus.
Key Skills:
- Minimum of 9 years of experience as an Oracle Database Administrator (DBA).
- Proficiency in writing, optimizing, and troubleshooting SQL queries and stored procedures.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and data interface development.
- Familiarity with UNIX/AIX, Shell Scripting, and tools like TOAD and SQL Developer.
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.

*) Minimum of 9 years of experience as an Oracle Database administrator (DBA) managing, tuning on-prem Oracle databases (11g, 12c, or newer)

*) Minimum of 9 years of experience managing and working with schemas, password management, security management, data mapping, tools ( e.g TOAD, SQL Developer), virtual machines, UNIX/AIX, Shell Scripting, CRON jobs
*) Minimum of 5 years of experience working with CI/CD pipelines

*) Experience working within Juvenile Justice or related domain and Applications hosted on Azure cloud is a plus.
