Summary: AaraTech Inc is looking for a Healthcare Data Engineer to develop and maintain data pipelines and integrations for healthcare systems. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for healthcare data ingestion and transformation.
- Work with healthcare data sources such as EHR/EMR, claims, clinical, and operational datasets.
- Support data modeling, integration, and schema design aligned with healthcare use cases.
- Collaborate with analysts, data scientists, and healthcare stakeholders to deliver reliable datasets.
- Perform data validation, quality checks, and reconciliation to ensure data accuracy.
- Assist in managing cloud data environments (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) for healthcare analytics.
- Support healthcare data standards and interoperability formats (HL7, FHIR exposure preferred).
- Maintain documentation for data pipelines, workflows, and healthcare data definitions.
- Monitor performance and optimize queries and data workflows for reporting and analytics.
Key Skills:
- 1-2 years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar data-focused role.
- Strong experience with SQL and relational databases.
- Knowledge of Python for data processing and automation.
- Understanding of ETL tools, data pipelines, and data warehousing concepts.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure) and services such as S3, BigQuery, Azure Data Lake.
- Familiarity with Apache Spark, Airflow, or similar frameworks (preferred).
- Basic understanding of healthcare data domains (clinical, claims, provider, or patient data).
- Awareness of healthcare compliance standards such as HIPAA (preferred).
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
