Summary: The role of Project Manager for D365 Finance & Operations (F&O) Implementation involves overseeing a significant transformation project for a leading organization. The successful candidate will manage the end-to-end delivery of the project, ensuring alignment with stakeholders and adherence to budgets and quality standards. This position requires a strong background in ERP implementations, particularly with Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O, and offers a hybrid working arrangement with two days onsite in London. The contract is initially for six months and classified as outside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the complex Dynamics 365 F&O implementation from planning to post-implementation.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders, implementation partners, and cross-functional teams.
- Ensure delivery against agreed milestones, budgets, and quality standards.
- Produce detailed project plans, RAID logs, budgets, and resource forecasts.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, including internal stakeholders and third-party vendors.
- Ensure robust project governance, controls, and reporting aligned to programme frameworks.
- Provide regular updates to senior stakeholders and steering groups.
- Drive delivery across all project phases, including requirements, design, build, testing, and deployment.
- Manage dependencies across workstreams and mitigate risks and issues.
- Support business readiness and change activities for smooth system adoption.
- Prepare for cutover planning and go-live support.
- Deliver complex projects on time and within budget.
- Exhibit excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Utilize project delivery methodologies (PRINCE2, PMP, Agile, or hybrid).
- Manage multiple workstreams in a complex transformation programme.
- Experience in public sector, healthcare, or not-for-profit environments.

We're working with a leading organisation undergoing a major Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) transformation and are looking for an experienced Project Manager to support end-to-end delivery and join them on an initial 6-month contract.
This is a key role responsible for managing a complex Dynamics 335 F&O implementation from initial planning and mobilisation through to go-live and post-implementation. The Successful PM will work closely with senior stakeholders, implementation partners, and cross-functional teams to ensure delivery against agreed milestones, budgets, and quality standards. Good experience of ADO will be hugely beneficial.
Hybrid working applies, with a minimum of two days per week onsite at the client central London Office.
Skills & Experience:
- Demonstrable experience of successfully delivery of D365 F&O transformation projects across Finance, Procurement, HR, and related business functions.
- Proven background as a Project Manager delivering large-scale ERP or Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O implementations.
- Strong understanding of Finance, Procurement, and HR processes within an ERP environment.
- Experience of producing detailed project plans, RAID logs, budgets, and resource forecasts.
- Demonstrable experience of using project planning and reporting tools such as MS Project, Jira, or Azure DevOps.
- Demonstrable experience of Coordinating cross-functional teams, including internal stakeholders, third-party vendors, and system integrators.
- Experience of ensuring robust project governance, controls, and reporting aligned to programme frameworks.
- Experience of Providing clear, regular updates to senior stakeholders and steering groups.
- Demonstrable experience of driving delivery across all project phases, including requirements, design, build, testing, data migration, training, and deployment.
- Demonstrable experience of managing dependencies across workstreams, proactively identifying and mitigating risks and issues.
- Demonstrable experience of supporting business readiness and change activities to ensure smooth adoption of new systems.
