Summary: The CSA Construction Manager role is a contract position based in Oxfordshire, focusing on overseeing CSA construction activities and M&E installations within highly regulated environments. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage CSA construction activities on site, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to specification
- Provide oversight and coordination of M&E installations, ensuring effective interface with CSA works
- Manage subcontractors and work packages, chairing site meetings and driving performance
- Ensure full compliance with HSEQ standards, regulatory requirements, and client expectations
- Coordinate with design, commercial, and project management teams to resolve technical and programme challenges
- Oversee quality inspections, snagging, and handover activities
- Maintain accurate site records, reporting progress, risks, and mitigation strategies to senior management
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as a CSA Construction Manager on large-scale construction projects
- Strong CSA background with demonstrable competence managing M&E works
- Experience working in highly regulated sectors (e.g. pharmaceutical, life sciences, data centres, healthcare, nuclear, MOD, or similar)
- Previous experience working for a Tier 1 main contractor
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing, commissioning interfaces, and compliance standards
- SMSTS, CSCS (Black or Gold), and First Aid (desirable)
- Able to start immediately or at very short notice

The role is initially offered as a 6-month contract, with strong potential for extension depending on project requirements. This position would suit a CSA-led Construction Manager who is also competent overseeing M&E installations, ideally gained within highly regulated environments and working for a Tier 1 contractor.
