Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake non-standard and high-risk confined space entries in compliance with Level 3 requirements.
- Lead and support confined space operations including emergency rescue readiness.
- Set up, inspect, and maintain all confined space equipment, including gas monitors, escape sets, winches, and tripod systems.
- Complete risk assessments, method statements, permits-to-work, and all relevant documentation.
- Work collaboratively with supervisors, safety personnel, and project managers to ensure safe site operations.
- Identify hazards and implement appropriate control measures.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and adhere to all H&S regulations and company policies.
Key Skills:
- City & Guilds Confined Spaces Level 3 (High Risk) certification - essential.
- Strong understanding of confined space legislation, safety procedures, and emergency protocols.
- Experience working in utilities, drainage, tunnels, infrastructure, or similar environments.
- Good physical fitness and ability to work in challenging environments.
- Full UK driving licence (preferred).
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Additional certifications such as First Aid, CSCS, or Rescue qualifications are advantageous.
