Summary: The role of Cloud Platform Developer involves contract work focused on research and development of Azure container technologies for a major consultancy. The developer will be responsible for creating documentation, designing observability tools, and contributing to the software development cycle. This position requires a strong understanding of Azure services and automation processes. The contract is set for an initial duration of 12 months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth research and development on Azure container technologies.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation.
- Design and implement observability tools.

Key Skills:
- Experience with Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS), Azure Container Instances (ACI), and Azure Container Apps (ACA).
- Ability to automate processes and create monitoring solutions (GitLab CI, Kubecost, Azure DevOps).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID, Azure CLI, and Azure Kubernetes Service.
- Knowledge of Azure Cosmos DB APIs and PostgreSQL.
- Experience with Helm charts and the Helm release process.
- Proficiency in PowerShell and Bash scripts for automation.

I'm seeking a cloud platform developer on a contract basis to perform in-depth research and development on the latest Azure container technologies for a major consultancy. You'll be creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation, designing/implementing observability tools, and contribute to the software development cycle.
Requirements:
- Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS), Azure Container Instances (ACI), and Azure Container Apps (ACA)
