Summary: The role of Civil Engineer involves working with an international engineering consultancy on energy, maritime, building, and infrastructure projects, specifically focusing on drainage and highways for Sizewell C. Key Responsibilities:
- Resolving site queries and coordinating design solutions to mitigate delays on site.
- Collaborating between the office-based structural team, the site-based teams, the Contractor teams and the wider Stakeholder teams.
- Working independently and as part of a team to produce reports and presentations to an excellent standard.
- Recording and communicating observations and variations of structural site works as they progress.
Key Skills:
- Drainage and Highways design experience.
- Relevant software experience – Civil 3D, Causeway Flow, Micro-drainage, Info-drainage etc.
- Experience as a Site-Based Engineer, Resident Engineer or Clerk of Works.
- A Bachelor's degree (BEng / BSc) or a Master's degree (MEng / MSc) in a relevant discipline.
- Ability to provide mentoring to more junior team members as a line manager.
