Summary: As a Business Architect, you will be integral to the central Architecture function, focusing on strategy, business design, and customer journeys to achieve impactful outcomes. Your role involves translating strategic objectives into actionable business architectures while collaborating closely with various stakeholders to ensure coherence and alignment with long-term business capabilities. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain business architecture artefacts including capability maps, journey frameworks, operating models, value stream models, and process architectures.
- Shape strategic options and advise on the evolution of business capabilities across transition states.
- Ensure architecture aligns with company strategy, customer outcomes, and target state designs.
- Collaborate with Solution Architects to ensure business and technology designs remain connected.
- Build and interpret financial models to support business cases and prioritisation decisions.
- Provide analytical insight that shapes investment planning, benefits modelling, and value for money assessments.
- Identify business risks and regulatory considerations impacting journey design, operating models, and organisational change.
- Ensure business designs comply with regulatory expectations, internal governance, and risk guardrails.
- Design end-to-end customer journeys aligned with strategic outcomes and business capabilities.
- Map and optimise journey variations, pain points, and operational impacts.
- Act as a trusted advisor to Product Owners, Value Stream Leads, and senior stakeholders.
- Lead workshops, facilitate strategic dialogue, and articulate concepts using models and visual frameworks.
Key Skills:
