Summary: The role of Business Analyst focuses on iOS, Android, and eCommerce within a retail context, requiring collaboration with design, user experience, product, and tech teams. The position demands proactive analysis of business needs and the ability to translate these into actionable requirements. The ideal candidate will have experience working with international teams and be open to occasional visits to London. This is a 12-month contract position outside IR35, offering a competitive daily rate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys with stakeholders to capture functional and non-functional requirements.
- Proactive analysis of business and user needs, translating these into clear, actionable requirements.
- Identify and address constraints (e.g., legal, privacy, and compliance).
- Map existing processes, highlighting gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Write user stories with acceptance criteria, modifying and splitting requirements as appropriate.
- Lead refinement and user story definition sessions.
- Support a multitude of teams in understanding requirements and validating implementation.
Key Skills:
- Experience in iOS and Android development.
- Background in retail and eCommerce.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business needs into actionable requirements.
- Experience working closely with design, user experience, product, and tech teams.
- Ability to liaise with international teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

We are looking for a Business Analyst who has experience in iOS and Android for retail and eCommerce. You will have worked in very close proximity to Design, User Experience, Product and Tech. Ideally you would have had exposure to liaising with international teams, and on occasion having to work outside of common/core hours (not weekends).
