Key Responsibilities:
- Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Manage general ledger activity and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Deliver clear, actionable financial insights to senior stakeholders.
- Produce cash flow reporting and support treasury processes.
- Build financial models and scenario analyses.
- Support audits and drive process improvements.
Key Skills:
- ACCA / ACA / CIMA qualification.
- Demonstrable experience in a similar role in accounting, finance, or analysis.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge.
- Advanced Excel and excellent analytical skills.
- High attention to detail and strong problem-solving ability.
- Confident communicator able to translate finance for non-finance teams.
- Strong stakeholder engagement.
- Desirable rail or infrastructure sector experience.
