Summary: The role of Interim Building Safety Manager involves providing specialist leadership and assurance in building safety compliance for a public sector organization in South West London. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead on building safety compliance across a varied residential property portfolio.
- Ensure the organization meets statutory obligations related to building safety.
- Embed robust governance and risk management arrangements in line with current legislation.
- Develop, review, and manage Safety Cases and building safety documentation.
- Provide assurance to senior stakeholders at both strategic and operational levels.
- Engage with a wide range of stakeholders, including residents, contractors, and regulators.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience in building safety, fire safety, or compliance-focused roles.
- Strong working knowledge of the Building Safety Act and Fire Safety Order.
- Experience in developing and managing Safety Cases and building safety documentation.
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
- A relevant professional qualification in building safety, fire safety, health & safety, surveying, or related disciplines.

- Strong working knowledge of the Building Safety Act, Fire Safety Order, and associated regulations
- Experience of developing, reviewing, or managing Safety Cases and building safety documentation
- The ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels, providing assurance to senior stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills, with experience engaging a wide range of stakeholders, including residents, contractors, and regulators
