Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the bids function, overseeing a small team
- Coordinate and deliver high quality UK and international bid submissions
- Manage the end to end bid process, from opportunity identification through to submission
- Coordinate input from Partners, project teams and consultants
- Tailor CVs, case studies and bid content for individual opportunities
- Review submissions for quality, accuracy and compliance
- Support interview preparation and presentation materials
- Maintain bid libraries, content databases and CRM systems
- Manage external consultant and sub-consultant relationships
- Track bid performance and support wider business development initiatives
Key Skills:
- Previous experience managing bids within architecture, design, construction or the built environment
- Strong understanding of UK bid and procurement processes, with international experience beneficial
- Experience leading complex submissions and coordinating multiple stakeholders
- Excellent writing, editing and communication skills
- Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
- Strong document production and presentation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign
- Confident working with senior stakeholders within a creative environment
- Ability to manage deadlines and multiple priorities simultaneously
- Candidates must already have the right to work in the UK, as visa sponsorship cannot be provided for this role

The Role
Working as part of a small and highly collaborative business development team, you will lead the preparation, coordination and delivery of high quality bid submissions, helping the practice secure new work across a diverse range of sectors and markets.
